Dr. Rege has been extensively trained in advanced spine endoscopy in South Korea, the global epicenter of endoscopic spine surgery, where he gained exposure to cutting-edge surgical technologies, refined operative techniques, and international best practices. This specialized training has played a pivotal role in shaping his approach to patient care, enabling him to deliver outcomes that meet global standards while remaining accessible and cost-effective for patients in India. He is a key driving force behind the DMH UBE Academy at Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital, Pune, where he serves as a mentor, educator, and academic leader. He is highly respected among his fellows for his approachable teaching style and strong emphasis on hands-on surgical training, ensuring that trainees gain real operative confidence rather than just observational exposure. Under his mentorship, numerous surgeons have successfully transitioned into endoscopic spine surgery. Dr. Rege also holds an official FNB (Fellowship of National Board) Spine seat, reflecting his recognized role in structured superspecialty training in spine surgery in India.
