Dr. Amol Rege is a highly respected senior spine surgeon with over three decades of experience in the field of spine surgery, widely recognized for his clinical excellence, surgical judgment, and commitment to innovation. Over the course of his distinguished career, he has developed extensive expertise in managing a wide spectrum of spinal disorders, ranging from routine degenerative conditions to highly complex spinal pathologies.
What sets Dr. Rege apart is his remarkable transition from a long-standing career in conventional open spine surgery to becoming a leading practitioner of Unilateral Biportal Endoscopy (UBE) in India. At a stage where most surgeons continue with established techniques, Dr. Rege embraced minimally invasive spine surgery with exceptional dedication and has successfully performed more than 300 UBE procedures, making him one of the very few senior spine surgeons in the country to achieve this milestone. His ability to integrate decades of open surgical experience with modern endoscopic techniques allows him to approach complex cases with enhanced precision, safety, and confidence.
